The Better Buildings Initiative, put in affect by President Obama has three targets. Improving energy efficiency by 20%, save businesses $40 billion a year on energy bills and reform outdated polices all by 2020. Being that buildings contribute to some of the greatest amounts of energy consumption this could have a profound impact on America’s green energy movement.
