Building Smarter Oilfields via IBM Centre of Excellence Stavanger

Norway’s offshore industry is considered a global leader.  Because of this, IBM has established a Centre of Excellence in Stavanger to develop solutions for the oil and gas industry.  Access to data from millions of measuring points on equipment and assets, such as pumps, valves, wells, etc, can realize NOK 300 billion over the next ten years according to a report from OLF.
